It Doesn't Matter

People sometimes take religion way too far. Religion is something you believe in. It is belief in a certain God. Some religions say that you have to be straight to believe in that God and that God does not accept those who are Gay or Lesbian or even Bisexual. I do not believe that.

I believe that a religion should allow everyone to be accepted no matter what sexual orientation they are. That was always the way it was when I was grown up. And so, I believe that the Pagan Gods and Goddesses don't care about your sexual orientation. Why should it matter?

I mean if sexual orientation matters then shouldn't all other categories? If a religion says that God wouldn't accept you because of your sexual orientation then, if you think about it, God also wouldn't accept you if you were fat, special ed, too skinny, what ever. But that's not the way it is.

God created everyone to be equal. God accepts everyone no matter what. And whoever said that God doesn't accept those who are Gay or Lesbian are wrong and need to be banished from that religion themselves. Do they really think they know what God wants? Well I got news for them, ... they don't. So they need to stop with this nonsense.

As I state in my book, Paganism is for Everyone, it doesn’t matter what the age, the sexual orientation, or even if someone is a murderer in prison when it comes to Divine acceptance. A religion is what you believe in and if you believe in it, then great!! Don't let people tell you that you can't be a part of that religion because of something otherwise. You let them know you believe and if they don't accept you, forget them. That doesn't mean you still can't believe.... Am I Right???

Do you think back thousands of years ago that sexual orientation mattered? Nope, it sure didn't. That is what is wrong with our world today; no one really knows what to believe in.

Well, I believe in the Pagan Gods and Goddesses and I’m bisexual. I may not tell a whole bunch of people but do you really think that the Gods or Goddesses care? Nope, they sure don't.

You shouldn't really care what people think either. You don't need to try to impress somebody. Just be yourself and don't be afraid. If you're Gay, then hey, more power to you. Instead of trying to make every little thing so perfect in order to ‘be accepted’, just be you. That is all that matters. And if someone doesn't like something about you, then hey, do you really need them or their ‘approval’ to be happy? No, you sure don't.

So… about Gay Paganism. It should be accepted. Like I said before, it doesn't matter what your orientation is. You can still believe.

I believe in Gay Marriage and I support it heavily. I have a cousin and a friend who are gay. They are both guys and they are so happy being themselves. They are both religious and are both members of a Christian church. The preacher doesn't like them because of their sexual orientation. but do you think they care? They are just happy to be themselves and that is all that should matter.

There is one thing that I need to get off my chest.

Some people in the world today treat Gay people like they are diseased. That needs to stop! Gays are people too and they have feelings. Yet people still don't understand that and it aggravates me so much. They should be accepted by others and by whatever religion they want to be in. That's it!

People like to make fun of Gays by saying things like, "Oh, you know how to spot a Gay person; they are always so clean and perfect looking." UH... No! No one should make fun of them like that either.

In fact, I have a friend who is perfect looking and always cleaned and dressed up all the time. Does that make her gay? No, she is just a preppy person. That's the way it is.

So accept Gay people, they are the best of friends that you will ever find. They will have you back no matter what happens. And will always be there to listen and help.

What has this world come to? (Yeah, I know its 2007) It isn't the cover of the book that tells a story, it is the pages. If you just judge the book by the cover you could be missing one of the best stories you ever could possibly ever read. That is why you should always give someone a chance and not judge them because of one or two things you don't like or understand or because something you heard.
