Ok here's the basic recipe as I originally came across it. Apparently it is a favorite of New Orleans prostitues of both sexes, but the target is always male. Recipe derived from voodun herbalisim.
Note: this perfume oil cannot make someone love you, it can only enhance attraction and passion if some ammount of it existed to begin with.

Base oils: 1 cup volume
half Almond oil (can substitute olive oil for nut allergy, but almond works better)
half Castor oil (derived from the palma christi tree)

Herbals: 1 part = 2 table spoons
1 part Sweet Flag (aka calamus root)
1 part Damiana
1 part Catnip
1 part Licorice Root

Measure herbs after grinding, heat oil to simmer, cast circle, call deities/elements (suggest of course Pan, Priapus, Adonnis, Apollo) empower herbs, and mix slowly a pinch at a time. After fully mixed simmer for 5-10 min on med-low heat. Remove from heat let cool over night. Strain out the herbs (a funnel and cheeze cloth will do).

Ok that's the basic recipe, they it if you wish I will post my more potent version/ritual/sigil for the bottle soon enough. I'm off to enjoy the natural surroundings of the alberta forrested foot hills... bless-ed be!

well you can anoint, the wrists, neck, arm pitts and crotch...

the scent is a sweet muskyness, that is subtle and not over powering.
does seem to work better when you don't wear deoderant, and have not bathed that day, likely so it can bond directly with the faramones...

Oh wow...I don't know if I could use it then. Not bathing for a day? I'm not a fastidious person, but I do feel the need to bathe everyday. Otherwise I feel gross. Does "it seems to work better when...[you] have not bathed that day" mean it won't work if you DO bathe?

No it will still work... But the more of your own faramones that are present the better... I personally barely sweat at all, but if others find they tend to sweat more then yes bathe that day. However if you have the day off and inted on going out in the evening, try bathing around mid-day and not again till you get home (of course you could be hather pre-occupied if you did wear this stuff, or you might not make it back to your place till morning, or later).

Have fun with it I know I do... and yes i'll post the expanded "Dominus" recipie soon, this particular one will be sufficient for most people.

Actually the dominus is just that... As I am a member of the kink community... It just happens to have a more, shall we say intoxicating effect, Though it still can't break the law of free will... It just makes it more likely a person will reveal their desires to you. Rather than simply admiring from a distance.

And no, castor oil would be, Huile de ricin, from the palma christi (it's cold pressed from the seeds) and is typically used as a topical skin treatment to sooth sores, and smooth dry skin. It just so happens to have "other" proporties.

Yes, I hadn't recorded the "palma christi tree". It's "huile de ricin", indeed. No crushed beaver for this spell, if I good understand. My imagination runs too fast.

So can I just check the intention of the Follow Me Boy as you have it rendered, it's:

  • Calamus root/Red Flag for control & commanding.
  • Catnip for love & beauty
  • Licorice Root for lust, passion & fidelity
  • Damiana for sexual stimulous

I'm somewhat concerned as I've just been informed that calamus root has halluncinogenic qualities which inspire person to have "experiences" and as someone with epilepsy I've been advised to substitute with hibiscus root or hyacinth?

Yes it's also one of the ingredients in true Absinthe' ... By itself and mixed into an oil it won't really have that sort of effect... It would need to be ingested, note that hallucinagenic plants have varying degrees on pontency. Calamus root/Sweet Flag unless it can be gotten in a fresh state (nearly impossible unless you grow it) does not contain enough viable oils to actually trigger any hallucinations. Unless combined with it's traditional companions in the making of Absenthe'. If you feel concerend using this yourself due to a medical condition, by all means make the substitution.
Calamus root is not to my knowledge any sort of controlled substance, if it's properties where at all harmful, I'm sure it would be much harder to purchace. But it's carried at the heath food store just a few blocks down from me, and is used in the treatment of many things. But due to other laws I can't tell you anything of a medicinal pourpose.
That's ok the Dominus uses Devils Claw...

The thing is we have different laws concerning herbal ingredients here in Ireland. Calamus root can't be got through sales here and while I have found some online what would worry me is customs. My one guaranteed source is someone growing it and their advice was to avoid it due to epilepsy. I think I shall be making substitutions , sorry hate altering people's hard-work but better safe than sorry.

As you can see I have no claim to the original recipe... Only my modified version, feel free to subtitute in needed. As always find what works best for you... And sorry i've been distracted and haven't posted my version yet. Though it my be best if anyone interested has time to try the basic formula to, see if it works well for them, before theying to make "Dominus". Which I can assure you won't be for everyone, the sort of empowerment it gives is only appropriate for some. Mainly those with a dominant/top tendancy. This is not an exclusionary statement, others will simply find dominus, uncomfortable and unnatural for them (but feel free to encourage a nice strong lover to use it ).

Must see the "Dominus" version when you've got time! Abhainn, using Hyacinth as a substitution if that's recommended sounds like an awesome addition based also on the mythologies of he & Apollo. Let me know!

Is the almond oil being used for any specific magickal properties or am I right to assume that it's the preferred carrier oil in the recipe? Exciting stuff, for the kitchen for sure!'If the kitchens too hot – you need more oil!' hehehe

Although it has being determined that none of the components found within the Acorus calamus plant can be converted to TMA (trimethoxyamphetamine) it is often best to error on the side of caution. Shamanicly it is a plant that encourages experiences that may not always be conducive to a stabilised health, especially if someone is challenged with epilepsy.

Bugscuttle, perhaps you may consider adding a drop of sweat to the mix, not only are you free to wash the oil would carry both a personal marker and your own unique pheromones.

In regards to the other ingredients the lore of Calamus and Hyacinth have many points of familiarity between one another, in both strong physical actions, gay lore, love and the transmutation of sorrow and lonliness.

According to legend Calamus, known also as Kalamos son of Zephyrus was beloved of Karpos, son of Chloris. When, during a swimming match, the beautiful Karpos drowned in the meander river kalamos was so lost in sorrow and grief that he allowed the waves of the river to take him too.

The gods on seeing this act transformed him into a water reed, who's rustling leaves were to echo the lamentation of the lost love and to stand as a charm against others who would risk such a faith.

Hyacinth was a beautiful spartan prince, beloved of the god Apollo and Zephyrus of the western wind. When Hyacinth choose to be the lover of Apollo above Zephyrus, he was wild and enraged, so much so that during a game of discus, Zephyrus drew the winds to guide the disk to Hyacinth.

The discus struck him dead. Apollo lost in his mourning denied Hades his beloved and transformed him into a plant with the warning that he was still beloved, so none may take a Hyacinth directly into themselves without stirring death.

The plant remains toxic but it was and is still used as an incense or oil (especially its tears) so that Apollo would look with grace upon the wearer.

I find it interesting that Zephyrus is involved in both legends. Thankfully one of his plants is the Hibiscus, which has not only a purple hue it is said to saith any disagreement with him. Zephyrus is also brother (sometimes husband) to Iris, goddess of the rainbow.

Such ingredients warrant the suggestion of working with these divine aspects along side the oil.

Satyr, I am quite the advocate of personal attunement and application of any craft, filling the acts with our own sense of purpose, power and intention seems to work far beyond the innate vibrations found in such things, granting them a greater channel to manifest themselves within the world of the witch.

Some information of carrier oils that might be of assistance with your (or anyone else's choice) there are some I wont cover such as Corn Oil, Peanut Oil, Safflower Oil, Soya Bean Oil as I dont really have the time right now but never the less below may be of assistance.

*Sweet Almond Oil -Prunus amygdalus var dulcis
Suitable for all skin types
Very light yellow in coluor, mostly odorless
Rich in protein, unsaturated fatty acids, and vitamins A, B1, B6, and E
Softens skin and very nourishing, easily and quickly absorbed by the skin
Particularly beneficial for sensitive and dry skin
Soothing to inflamed and irritated skin
Useful for prematurely aged skin
Long shelf life
Often used in massage and is one I would recommend with such a blend.. very tactile friendly

*Apricot Kernel Oil - Prunus armeniaca
Suitable for all skin types, especially useful on sensitive and mature skin
Pale yellow in coluor, mostly odorless
Quickly penetrates and softens skin
Highly nourishing
Long shelf life
Often used in body and face blends and is quite usable in many forms of glamour and confidence workings.

*Peach Kernel Oil - Prunus persica
Suitable for all skin types
Softens skin and highly nourishing
Long shelf life
Can be highly effective when used with love magicks as it carries a more pronounced sense of romance.

*Grapeseed Oil -Vitis vinifera
Suitable for all skin types
Pale green in color, odorless
Light on the skin, provides satin-smooth finish
Contains vitamin F
Very effective when working on a primary physical level, allows the oils to take a more earthy thread and accentuate the physical.

*Hazelnut Oil - Corylus avellana
Suitable for all skin types
Considered appropriate for acne
Deeply penetrating, very nourishing, stimulates circulation
Yellow in color, helps to act as filter against the sun and can at times allow for a more gentle flow of energy then the high lust

*Sunflower Oil - Helianthus annuus
Suitable for all skin types
Pale yellow in color
Contains vitamin F
Shorter shelf life
Personally I would use this one if I was working with the pre-mentioned Apollo/divine aspects or follow me boy blend. As not only does its latin name carry a word that might click in with many gay males, the solar theme and sense of illumination is one that will certainly get anyone noticed.
