What about imagining to work together at the 17th of May for the International Day Against Homophobia ?
We don't need to be physically together. Don't even need to work at the same time since we don't live at the same hour. 9 PM comes sooner in Europe. But we can imagine sending a ball of light, maybe saying the same "sentence" with the purpose it joins the balls sent by the other ones. And that this healing supra-ball goes wherever it is needed. Ideas ?

Hey Faune, this sounds like a worthy cause and I'd love to get behind this myself. Was there something you had envisioned yourself? I noticed that May 14 is a New Moon so perhaps we could all some work regarding initialising growth of understanding and banishing negativity? I'm a huge fan of candles and the illumination they bring? |

Choose your target and say "Fire" I mean "Peace"... Errr "Burning peace ball of gentle doom"... Oh just say where and when. |

Sing of Hephaestus famed for inventions.
With bright-eyed Athene he taught men glorious crafts throughout the world,
Men who before used to dwell caves in the mountains like wild beasts.
But now that they have learned crafts through Hephaestus the famed worker,
Easily they live a peaceful life in their own houses the whole year round.
Be gracious Hephaestus, and grant me success and prosperity!

Yes, it will be the beginning of a new moon circle. Maybe the 17th itself can be difficult since it is a monday. I believe people have more time and ease to perform magick on the week-end. So, maybe sunday the 16th ? Sunday, day of the sun. Great symbol for all people who don't dare to come out to the light and to finally define themselves as gay in the world. But, the 16th is not the 17th. What do you prefer ? I also love candles. I think of rainbow candles, or candles set upon a rainbow flag, or rainbow picture. We live in different parts of the world. I think that asking the wind to spread the smoke of a burnt paper upon which we all would have writen the same sentence, would be great. And then ask the wind to take the smoke away and join the one that will be lit later by the other ones. Ideas for the sentence ? Or a poem ? Well, in English, I don't know whether I am good enough to imagine an efficient spell. For the hour, I thought about the morning, since the idea is "to wake something up". |

well I have a poem I wrote when I was like 15 that migh work... and then just tack on your own revelations on the end... Forbidden Love Eyes Meet, Harder blood flows. Love beseeched, As passion grows. Dark Embrace, In far moons light. Sadness chaste, End to plight. The world surrounds, Their forbidden state. Drags then down, To judgement's slate. Looked upon as evil, With eyes of hate. Eyes that reveal, A mind irate. The mouth to these eyes,
How can it speak?
Such ravenous lies,
Their pain to reap.

Beautiful poem, DN.This could be used as an introduction. Here I propose a kind of spell : "Some people from the rainbow are insulted. We, people from the rainbow, transform these insults to words of wisdom. Be blessed, you all people from the rainbow. Some people from the rainbow are hurt or killed. We, people from the rainbow, transform these wounds to health and life. Be alive and healthy, you all people from the rainbow. Some people rom the rainbow are condemned. We, people from the rainbow, transform this guilt to innocence. Be free, you all people from the rainbow. We come together in the rays of light, fallen from the Moon and the Sun, We, gay children of Mother Earth create the peace for our tribe" Sorry again for my bad English. Feel free to improve. Other ideas of text to be read ? |

"Open the eyes of those lost in hate,
That they may see this light that we prism upon the world,
to heal the lost and isolated ones.
Let they too, feel it's warmth, all people of the rainbow."
Yep sunday the 16th sounds like a plan... Hope this addition workes well for everyone. Remembering to wish healing and forgivenece on the mis-guided too.
Aside note: The only peice of "pride" jewlery I have is a black chain choaker (with rainbow links) I modified with 8 real carved bone skull beads hanging from it... It's a "momento mori", and I always referenced that the skulls were "for the fallen". Sort of an ancesteral charm of a non-blood related family, one we are all 'born into'.
I suppose I'll poceed in this ritual by calling on the "honourd dead", to petition them to help others so that they need not feel the same pains.

was just compileing this together and I wrote this opening if anyone feels like using it “On this the eve of our stance against the hatred and pain, we call upon you great mother, hold those in sorrow to your breast, and let them feel your warmth. On this day we declare ourselves free, bless-ed father stand at our side, let your strength flow through us, and with this our true selves shine.”

Wow, it's coming soon. It's next sunday already. The only rainbow "pieces" I have got are two rainbow candles made by "Amnesty international". I think it will be useful. I think that all these texts could be put together. I am just wondering : how to compile them together into a ritual ? I mean, for example : read an introduction, light the candles up, etc... What would be written on the paper burnt and what would be only read ? I think it woul be interesting to use Decrypted Night'spoem as a song. To sing it, each in our own way. |

Well in the support of dirersity I'd say as long as we share a few parts in common and a united intent, the specifics of the ritual should e left to each person.
But here's an Idea the link below is for a harmonics frequency of 396Hz, it's used for liberation from guilt and fear. If activated like a tuning fork, even if it's on your computer somewhere near by and not in the actual ritual space, it can help attune the energies across long distances.
